Nail Art – Mint & Gray

Hello, friends!  It has been such a long time since I have shared any nail art or even painted my nails that I figured it was high time I fixed such a sad situation!  ;)

With spring making its slow debut, I have been inspired by mixing spring and winter palettes.  I love this beautiful pale, dove gray polish and decided mint green is the perfect complement.  Here are the polishes:

From left to right: Rimmel Base & Top Coat (#100), NYC “Sidewalkers” (#270), Maybelline Color Show “Green with Envy” (#320), and NYC “Matte Me Crazy” matte top coat (#274).

I tried my hand at some hand drawn stripes and polka dots and I think they came out pretty good, if not totally smooth.  What do you think??

I hope you have a great week, and, as always, thanks for reading :), Kristi

PS.  A little birdie might just have some news regarding a nail collaboration in the works.  If you’re a blogger and you like to paint your nails, leave me a message with your email (or tweet me @alligatortoe or email me) and be on the lookout for details, coming soon!  ;)

  1. That’s rather really pretty…. the color combination is to die for! Hand-drawn stripes are tough, we are surprised at your talent at even drawing this neatly. We couldn’t have done it! We always tape!

    1. Thank you so much! I never used to like pastel nail colors because I thought they were too juvenile, but I’ve seen the trend for a few seasons now and I think pastels have gained some sophistication. Plus, they’re pretty!! ;)

Your comments make my day, let me know what you think! :)
